Cost Estimating Software, Costimator®, Gives Leading Portugal Manufacturer, MCG, a Shot in the Arm West Springfield, MA / PRBuzz.com / January 24, 2012 -- MTI Systems, Inc. ( www.mtisystems.com) has announced today that MCG of Portugal has selected Costimator®, MTI Systems' flagship software estimating tool, in order to increase their cost estimating speed and to enhance the accuracy of their quotations. MCG mind for metal is a 60-year veteran of the metallic component manufacturing industry with a laser-focus on ethics and sustainability. The machining, fabricating and assembly company fuses their cutting-edge technologies, a robust engineering department and forward-thinking research and development processes, all dedicated to making waves in the automotive, solar, laser and tooling markets. However, when traditional cost estimating practices on archaic spreadsheets consumed vast amounts of financial and human resources, MCG knew it was time for a change. MCG Sales and Marketing Director Pedro Sousa, explains "...What we used for cost estimating was the typical spreadsheet for every kind of process. So if, for example, you had a part with five processes, we would use five different spreadsheets. This dispersion, over thousands of spreadsheets, was time consuming and error prone. With Costimator we are seeing a reduction in cost estimating lead time and an increase in accuracy through a more simplified estimating process." "We are finding that more and more overseas manufacturers are seeking out cost estimating software to help them improve the quality and timeliness of their cost estimating process." remarks David LaJoie, VP Sales of MTI Systems. "In fact, our international sales of Costimator have more than tripled in the last 2 years." Costimator cost estimating, quoting and process planning software has for the past three decades, served as a platform helping to make cost estimating more effective for part suppliers. Whether estimating machining, fabricating, or assembled parts, it helps manufacturers, like job shops, contract manufacturers, precision machining shops and others quickly and accurately, estimate cycle times and determines the manufacturing cost for parts and assemblies. Today, the software is also being used by many of the world's largest OEMs in a wide variety of industries including defense, aerospace, medical, heavy equipment, automotive and consumer product. / PRBuzz.com / January 24, 2012 -- If you can't laugh at your own personal and professional mishaps, then marketing-company entrepreneur, humorist, writer and speaker, Randall Kenneth Jones, invites you to laugh at his on AttackBunnies.com. Jones's greatest gift is his honest and humorous portrayal of the "workplace" through his understanding of the diverse definitions of "work" as relating to jobs, professional courtesy, personal development, professional development, parenting, relationships, interpersonal communication, community affiliations, friendships and sometimes, the work involved in simply getting out of bed each morning. Jones explains, "As I have been described as the 'love child' of Dale Carnegie and David Sedaris, my goal with everything I write is to add humor, honesty and entertainment to (what can be very dry) personal and professional development themes. With pet chicken fiascos, ghost sightings, an ongoing 'feud' with ABC's Elizabeth Vargas, and a 'near-death experience' at the hands of a prepubescent Jodie Foster, it's all in there--and it all made me who I am today." Containing equal parts business exposé, parenting handbook, sales training text, personal memoir and how-to-NOT guide, Attack Bunnies is based on the premise that every person you meet, and every situation you navigate, influences the one multi-faceted person you ultimately become: at home and at the office. Having originally launched in early 2011, Jones and his metaphorical attacking bunnies are now back with Season Two. "Fright of the Lepus," the season opener, recounts Jones's run-in with enraged office pet. Says Jones, "I am constantly asked why I named this series, 'Attack Bunnies.' My somewhat veiled answer has always been, 'I was at work, I was naked, and I was attacked.' To kick of Season Two, I thought it was time to let the bunny out of the bag." Let is also be said that the Motion Picture Association of America would most likely, given the change, assign a PG-13 rating to Jones's series of essays. Jones continues, "We are constantly coached to never lose sight of our dreams--but this sermon invariably comes from someone on the cusp of, or in the throes of, fame and rampant success. In truth, the majority of us won't achieve our dreams exactly as planned. Who teaches ushow to evolve without fame, fortune and complete-goal realization? How do we reach a balance between never giving up and embracing our reality? If sharing my journey--the good, the bad, the ugly, and the bunny--enables others to more easily recognize those people and situations that have impacted their personal and professional growth, and start to learn how to celebrate who they have become, then I'm a huge success." Contacts: Randall Kenneth Jones 239-304-9611 Virginia Canard 571-439-4709 ABOUT: Randall Kenneth Jones's 25+ year career has been spent in executive management, creative development, marketing and sales positions in the advertising, direct marketing, retail and newspaper publishing industries primarily in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. MindZoo's lifeblood is helping consumer marketers reach out to their best customers and/or target new customers matching their VIP profile. Founded in 2001, MindZoo strives to deliver unbridled creativity, proven experience, a positive approach and matchless professional courtesy to each and every business relationship. What you should know, and perhaps much more importantly, is the following fact: the controller and creator of that spam factory was no less than a former employee of several Antivirus firms. What does this mean for you? It means you should think twice before firing Johnny No-Virus from your Antivirus group, folks, because he’ll probably be spamming you soon.

At a time, one of the PlayStation Vita's biggest selling points was a "Remote Play" feature that would essentially allow people to play any PlayStation 3 title on the shiny new handheld. As it turns out, the feature is maddeningly restricted to a paltry selection of games (Peggle? Bejeweled 2? Really?), which is carefully managed by a series of mandatory firmware updates. However, a hacked version of the PS3's 3.55 firmware highlights a very interesting loophole.
